NHS Foundation Trust: Penrith Hospital

  • Working on NHS sites is often an enjoyable and interesting sequencing of works in a timely manner to the number of very important stakeholders that need consideration and satisfying.
  • Importantly the hospital patients and their visitors need to be content. As well as patients there are ancillary staff, medical providing staff, contract administrators and NHS management, Health & Safety Consultants, as well as the usual Building Control and Health & Safety Executive that must be considered appropriately.
  • This fantastic project for the NHS Trust was split over two main locations with Penrith Hospital. A phase approach was taken to re-locate staff and planned refurbish rooms to create working environments to be re-occupied and services to continue. Improvements were made to individual consultation rooms and also common areas such as reception areas that needed planning and implementation to maintain safety and critical hospital services.
  • Reception areas, staff changing, clinics, staff facilities and consultation rooms were upgraded with various improvements including specific Healthcare clinically hygienic systems.
